Frequently asked questions

Has the deforestation regulation not simply been abolished?

No. It has been postponed three times and simplified in December 2025, but it is coming. For large and medium-sized enterprises it applies from 30 December 2026, for micro and small from 30 June 2027, and for products added in July 2026 from 30 December 2027.

Is this legal advice?

No. We never declare that a product or supplier is deforestation-free or "EUDR-proof", and we are not a certifying body. The legal risk assessment remains your responsibility as a market operator; for a binding ruling, the competent authority is in charge — in the Netherlands, the NVWA.

Does the regulation also apply to my company?

That depends on your raw material, your position in the supply chain and the size of your company. If you only purchase from a Dutch wholesaler, your obligation is significantly lighter than if you import yourself. The free role check answers that in six questions, including the date.

Is the content written by AI?

Yes, based on official sources, with a technical check afterwards and human approval before publication. That is also stated under each article, with the date of the last check.

What does it cost and what do I get for free?

The role check, the knowledge base and all source references are free and will remain so. The dossier per product stream, monitoring of your deadlines and the declarations are included in the subscription.

In which languages is the site available?

Dutch and English. The regulation applies throughout the EU and trade is international; German and French will follow.
